Colonial Chemical Awarded GMP for Cosmetics ISO 22716:2007 And ISO 9001:2015 Renewal

Colonial Chemical, Inc. announced that it has been approved for GMP for Cosmetics ISO 22716:2007 as well as renewal for the ISO 9001:2015. These guidelines provide a system of processes, procedures and documentation to assure a product has the identity, strength, composition, quality and purity that appear on the product label.

Awarded by SRI Quality System Registrar, this certification requires a rigorous process analyzing various aspects of the company including personnel, organizational structure, documentation and equipment in general. Acquiring GMP for Cosmetics certification means investing in state-of-the-art equipment and technology in addition to the certification costs. GMP for Cosmetics is widely recognized across the globe.

“We have strengthened our guidelines for GMP for Cosmetics, which strengthens our commitment to ensuring the quality we provide to our customers,” states Jason Santola, Quality Manager.  “This achievement validates the company’s quality policies, which aims to continually achieve greater reliability in the market and strengthen credibility with partners and customers.
